Last updated: 1 June 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Revnio.in (“Revnio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our services. By using Revnio, you agree to this policy.

Revnio is operated from India and complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in using Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and Google profile picture. We do not receive your Google password.

Business information. When you set up your business profile, you provide your business name, category, city, slug (custom URL), Google Business Profile URL, popular dishes, location keywords, language preference, and tone preference.

Customer interaction data. When customers scan your QR code, we record the QR session ID, the time of scan, the table number (if provided), the items ordered (if provided), and basic technical data (browser type, approximate location based on IP).

Customer feedback. When a customer submits private feedback (1-2 star ratings that don't go to Google), we store the feedback text along with the related session and star rating.

Payment information (future). When subscriptions launch, payment processing is handled by Razorpay. We do not store full card numbers — we only retain a payment reference ID, the last four digits of the card, the plan, and renewal dates.

Usage data. We track basic in-app actions (which features you use, when you create QR codes, etc.) to improve the product.

2. How we use information

We use your information to:

We do not sell your data to advertisers or third parties.

3. AI processing

To generate review suggestions and reply drafts, we send the necessary context (business name, category, keywords, items ordered, language, and rating) to our AI provider, Groq Cloud (Mountain View, CA). Groq processes this data to generate text and does not retain or use it to train models. We do not send customer-identifying information to the AI provider.

4. Third parties we use

We share limited data with these service providers:

Each of these providers has their own privacy practices. We only share what's necessary to deliver Revnio.

5. Your rights under the DPDP Act

As a user in India, you have the right to:

You can exercise these rights at any time:

We respond to all requests within 30 days.

6. Data retention

7. Email notifications

We send transactional emails from noreply@revnio.in. Reply emails route to info@revnio.in. You can manage notification preferences in Settings → Email Notifications. Transactional emails (account-critical alerts like plan expiry) cannot be disabled while your account is active.

8. Customer review collection

When your customers scan a Revnio QR code at your business, they see a review page that mentions Revnio as the platform. Their interaction data is stored under your business account. Customer-typed private feedback is delivered only to you. You are responsible for informing your customers that reviews and feedback are collected via Revnio — typically by adding a small note next to the QR code at your business.

9. Cookies and tracking

Revnio uses essential cookies for authentication (Google OAuth session) and basic functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

10. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data:

No system is perfectly secure. If you discover a security issue, please email info@revnio.in.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top. For material changes, we'll notify active users by email.
